Book Week Day 2

'This morning we did a quiz about book characters. We did very well and got them all correct.' - By Sovanrich

'We had a mystery reader. Today it was Ms Paula. She read us a book called Smelly Bill'  By Reach

'We shared our poems in class, and with Ms Courtney's class' - Jennita and Thai Hak

We learned the poem in my pocket song by Emily Arrow' Chin Hao

We sang and recorded it on seesaw so that you can see it!

'We had a special guest speaker - David Schwarts...he told us about his book on camouflage' - Issac.

'He told us how important details are in stories to make them interesting and research' Reach

'He talked about making writing interesting using similies and metaphors' - Sovanrich

He gave us examples from his book Super Grandpa...which is a well known true tale of an incredible man from Sweden.

During literacy time we played some games, explored Raz kids, and worked on answering our mini inquiry questions.
