Weekly Update 26 - 30 March

It's been a busy week. Students are tired as it is a long term...but they are still putting 100% effort into their learning. Here are some group shots of us enjoying our learning this week.

We explored nature this further this week...and were inspired by the creations of environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy.

We beautified our own school...enhancing it with items from nature we found and collected.

We continued to work on our process journals, looking at developing our ideas and investigating our own choice of artwork inspired by nature. It looks like it will be a busy week next week...with students planning to create nature inspired collages, paintings, songs, pop up books, sculptures, mobiles...and the list goes on! They have been giving each other feedback on how they are doing with the success criteria, and asking each-other some fabulous questions to help guide their inquiries.

In Math, we continued to look at 2d and 3d shape and symmetry. We made a class symmetry 'stop motion' movie, and uploaded 2d shape symmetries and explanations onto seesaw.
