In a PYP school, every class, every team, even the whole school has an essential agreement which sets the tone for collaboration and teamwork. This is to ensure we all understand the shared expectations. On Friday, we began creating our class essential agreement. The the students brainstormed what 'helps them learn' and what 'hinders their learning'. Their ideas were fabulous and really demonstrated their understanding of how social, emotional, and physical factors can impact the way in which they learn. We used these ideas to come up with our final agreement, and made a handprint to represent our agreement to uphold this.
Today, the children had their first PE session with Mr Andy. This was the agreement they came up with as a class for PE.
