How The World Works

Central Idea

The application of scientific principles through the use of simple machines makes work easier.

We had a fantastic week of exploration...looking at unit vocabulary, playing with equipment and discovering it's uses, and visiting Wat Phnom Park to see how these are used.

We can now identify some of the simple machines we see around us and describe their purposes. Over the next few weeks we will look further at scientific principles which will help us understand these better - like force, momentum, and gravity.
