This unit we will be exploring 'Response Writing'. This is a form of writing that describes our reaction to particular stimuli. In this unit we are using response writing to express our opinions on various art forms including; visual art, dance, music, drama, and writing.Today we discussed what a 'response' is and brainstormed ideas. Then we watched part of a silent film from 1929 by Charlie Chaplin. We discussed the form of the art, and explored our personal reactions.Then we used a scaffold to help guide the structure of our work. We will use this to assist us when we write tomorrow.
