Reading in our Mother Tongue

Today Fraya shared one of her favourite books with the class 'Green Eggs and Ham'. She read us the story in Spanish and we then watched an animated version of the book online. This sparked some interesting conversation about similarities between the sound of some words in different languages. We followed up with a reading activity recalling all of the 'places' mentioned in the story. We drew them and wrote them in English and our home languages.
